My review:
Sleeping with Strangers is the story of an contract killer, who goes by the name of Gideon, who travels from the States to the UK to escape the heat of an high-profile contract obligation that almost backfired. Gideon's escape finds him on a plane to the UK where he meets 3 individuals who's lives are about to intertwine with his despite his commitment to fulfill contractural obligations. Gideon's wrath will not only be suffered by his victims but the tables turn when he becomes the one hunted. Will Gideon's past finally come to haunt him, or will he finally be able to spend his million dollars usefully and get the girl of his dreams? These questions can be answered in SWS, a sure page turner!!!
Sidebar:
I've read alot of Eric Jerome Dickey's books in the past and I must say he's been consistent in all of his books. This one stands out to me not only because it isn't just based on relationships but the story is convincing and I can actually picture the book as an action packed movie with Wesley Snipes as Gideon or an Hollywood actor that does action films. Eric is very descriptive in his writing and this book was no different, his attention to detail as well as locations are key, and it almost felt like you were being transported to that place in time. If you like books that are action packed, than this is the book for you, it is filled with an adequate amount of sex and violence that you will swear you were a character in the book.
I rate his book ***** (5) out of ***** (5) stars.
Stay tuned to the 2nd installment of the Gideon Trilogy...Waking with Enemies- Review coming soon!!!
